Individual Counseling

Individual counseling can occur online (for both Colorado and Florida residents) or in-person for Colorado residents. During the initial session, we will discuss informed consent, your individual rights, and the therapy process. Subsequent sessions will consist of treatment plans and exploration of the symptoms currently affecting you. Ongoing therapy will help you process your thoughts and emotions so you can discover hope.

Couples Counseling

It is vitally important to understand how to make your relationship work for you as a couple. I am a trained couples therapist (Prepare and Enrich Counselor and The Prevention & Relationship Enhancement Program Facilitator) who creates a safe space to discuss communication, finances, intimacy, disconnections, and conflict resolution. The goal is to discover hope to enrich your relationship with your spouse or partner.

Family Counseling

Family dynamics are multifaceted. Family therapy helps address issues related to (co)parenting, divorce, life transitions, communication, stressful events, mental health, and family conflict. During the session, we will discuss the impact of other family stressors. Regardless of your needs, the sessions will help family members discover hope to deepen connections, to adapt skills, and to communicate.

Group Counseling

In Colorado, there will be child, adolescent, and adult groups available. Group therapy consists of 8 or fewer people working with a counselor. The topics vary from self-awareness, self- esteem, safety, anger management, depression, anxiety, bullying issues, rejection, communication skills, spirituality, empowerment, decision-making, parenting, conflict-resolution, etc.

Group therapy is effective. Each one of us was made to be relational meaning that we were made to be part of a group. Finding a community where the focus is healing creates an environment where people want to share their stories. As you and others share your stories, hope will be discovered. You will notice an improvement in social confidence, in communication, in regulating mood, and in dealing with mental health issues.
